Ziplock bags (colloquially also press seal bags or Minigrip) are made from LDPE film with an integrated ziplock closure. The material thickness determines tear resistance, light protection and the stability of the resealable closure.
LDPE 50 microns — standard transparent variant
Crystal-clear polyethylene film for light contents: small parts, spare parts, jewellery, screws, samples. Stable up to approx. 200 g fill weight. Tear-resistant, flexible, cost-effective. Ziplock closure with a double lip for a secure seal across repeated openings.
LDPE 90 microns — extra-strong for commercial use
Reinforced film thickness for heavy or sharp-edged contents: metal parts, tool spare parts, industrial products. Higher puncture resistance and longer service life with repeated reuse. Suitable for warehouse packing and shipping.
LDPE with write-on panel
Variant with a matt strip at the top right on the front of the bag — can be written on with a ballpoint pen, pencil or marker. Practical for workshops, laboratories, pharmacies and shipping with individual content labelling without a separate label.
LDPE with Euro hole
Reinforced punched hole at the head of the bag for display on slat walls in retail. Compliant with the standard 4 mm Euro hole norm.
Food-grade variant
LDPE film certified for direct food contact in accordance with EU Regulation 10/2011. Declaration of conformity available on request. Suitable for dry foods, spice samples and herb blends.
Ziplock mechanism: double-lip system for a secure seal, opened manually with thumb pressure or by machine.
