LDPE (Low Density Polyethylene) is soft, tear-resistant and crystal clear. The material is cold-resistant down to around -40 °C, so it is freezer-safe, and stays dimensionally stable up to around 70–80 °C. The bag is food-safe according to EC 1935/2004 and EU 10/2011 — we send you the declaration of compliance (PIM) on request. As a mono-material, it runs cleanly through the PE recycling stream and is therefore PPWR-compliant from 2030.

At 50 µm you are well equipped for standard contents without extreme stress: lightweight, transparent, cost-effective per bag. If you have sharp-edged, heavy or pointed contents that could pierce the film — for example metal parts with burrs — reach for the sturdier 90 µm version. If you need a writing area to note batch and date, the version with three white writing panels is the better choice.

The double-lip press-to-close zip works on a simple principle: you press the two profile lips together with your fingers until they click audibly into place — no slider or tool needed. The closure stays reliably functional over 30 to 50 open-and-close cycles, so you can reuse the same bag several times instead of discarding it after a single use. This not only saves material, it also keeps powders, small parts or food residue protected from dust and moisture between uses. Because the film is a mono-material PE, the bag belongs in the recyclables bin at the end of its life and is cleanly recycled in the German recycling stream.
