The LDPE ziplock bags with three white write-on panels 50 microns are crystal-clear zip bags with printed matt writing fields. On the three panels you note batch, date or label directly by hand — at a 50-micron standard wall thickness for light to medium contents.
The three white fields solve a practical problem: on crystal-clear PE, ballpoint ink barely adheres and smears. The matt panels take writing cleanly and stay legible — ideal wherever every bag must be clearly identifiable:
The bags are made of soft, tear-resistant LDPE and stay crystal-clear outside the writing fields. The matt panels can be marked with ballpoint pen, pencil or permanent marker. LDPE is food-grade per EC 1935/2004 and EU 10/2011 (declaration of conformity on request), suitable for freezing down to around -40 °C and, as a PE mono-material, recyclable and PPWR-compliant from 2030.
The 50-micron thickness suits standard contents without heavy mechanical stress. If you have heavier or sharp-edged parts and still want to write on them, choose the same variant in 90 microns. If you don't need writing fields but maximum transparency, the version without write-on panels is the choice. The double-lip press-to-close zip is identically resealable on all of them.
In labs, practices and quality assurance, the problem is not the contents but their clear identification. On a crystal-clear PE surface, ink beads off and smudges — the three matt panels solve this because they take ballpoint pen, pencil and permanent marker cleanly and keep them permanently legible. This way you document sample number, batch, fill date or best-before date directly on the bag, without having to stick on extra labels. That saves a work step and avoids mix-ups when many identical-looking bags lie side by side. For multiple use, you can cross out an old note and write afresh on the next panel instead of discarding the bag.

Yes. Only the three narrow fields are white and matt; the rest of the surface is crystal-clear LDPE. So you still see the contents but additionally have defined writing areas.

With a permanent marker, yes. LDPE stays break-resistant down to around -40 °C; with condensation after thawing, a permanent marker beats a ballpoint pen.
50 microns is enough for light contents such as powders or small parts. For heavier or sharp-edged contents that you still want to label, choose the 90-micron variant with panels.
Via the recycling bin. The printed panels do not affect the material purity — the bag remains LDPE mono-material and thus fully recyclable.
