Drawstring bags – also called drawstring pouches or cord-closure bags – are closed with a threaded cord. The cord runs through the top edge; pull both ends and the opening closes.
Our version is made of clear LDPE film, 50 µm thick, with a white cord that extends approx. 3 cm on the left and right. The bag is food-safe and carries the PE recycling symbol.
Our drawstring bags are made of LDPE film (low-density polyethylene). LDPE is flexible, tear-resistant and clear – the contents stay visible.
At 50 µm the film is sturdy while staying lightweight. Food-safe according to Regulation (EC) No 1935/2004 and (EU) No 10/2011. The PE recycling symbol is printed on the bag.
The cord runs through the top edge and extends approx. 3 cm on the left and right. Pulling it tight closes the bag, loosening it opens it again.

The drawstring bags are made of LDPE film and, thanks to the cord, can be opened and closed again several times – first as packaging, then as a storage bag, for example.
LDPE carries recycling code 04. The film is recyclable in the PE stream; the PE symbol on the bag helps with correct disposal.
