What distinguishes packaging from shipping flat bags?

Packaging flat bags address the internal B2B context: component packaging, in-house logistics, warehouse protection. Shipping flat bags are specially optimised for parcel shipping: often with a self-adhesive closure and shipping protection requirements. The film itself can be identical; it is the application context that differs.

What are antistatic flat bags?

Antistatic films are equipped with special additives that prevent the film from becoming charged. This is important for automated packaging machines (so the film does not cling to machine parts) and for sensitive electronic components (no build-up of electrical voltage).

What are VCI films?

VCI stands for Volatile Corrosion Inhibitor – volatile corrosion-protection agents incorporated into the film. Inside the bag, the inhibitor material evaporates in small quantities and lays a protective film onto the metal surfaces. Ideal for tools, screws and precision parts in storage.

Are ESD bags the same as antistatic ones?

No. ESD-conductive films can dissipate electrical charge in a controlled way – important for semiconductors, microchips and sensitive electronics. Antistatic films only prevent charging but do not dissipate any charge. For ESD-sensitive components, genuine ESD films are essential.

What minimum quantity applies for industrial customers?

No minimum quantity for standard stock ex warehouse. For special films (VCI, ESD, with custom printing) there are minimum runs, which depend on film thickness and special features. We advise on specific run sizes.

Which packaging machines are compatible?

Our films are suitable for common automated packaging machines – hot-punching systems, flow-wrap machines and component-packaging robots. For specific machine requirements (film slip, sealing temperature) we will pass on specifications on request.

Can the bags be printed with our logo?

Yes, custom printing in gravure or flexographic printing. For industrial customers with high demand, printing quickly pays off. Special features (warning symbols, safety notices, batch tracking) are easily possible.

How available is the standard stock in pallet quantities?

Our German warehouse carries the common standard sizes in pallet quantities. Under normal demand, the standard stock can be called off within 1–2 working days. For high-frequency industrial customers we are happy to arrange call-off quotas.

Can you certify?

For our standard films we supply declarations of conformity in accordance with EU 10/2011 (food contact), material data sheets and safety data sheets. For ISO 9001 / 14001 audits we are happy to support you with supplier-evaluation documents.

Are sustainable B2B packaging bags available?

Yes. We carry PCR-recycled and mono-material variants in the common industrial standard sizes. For companies with ESG reporting obligations, GRS certificates are available on request.

Can you also ship without delivery to Germany?

Our main market is Germany and Europe. For international consignments, please get in touch – EU-wide delivery is generally straightforward.
