The OPP Flat Bags with Sealed Seam 30 microns are flat presentation bags made of crystal-clear, biaxially oriented polypropylene with a 30 microns material thickness and a factory-made sealed seam. This seam gives the bag a clean, neat edge – ideal for presenting goods with a high-quality, sharp-edged look.
OPP is the most brilliant clear film in the range. With the pre-made sealed seam you get a clean bag edge that frames goods professionally. They are typically used wherever looks make the sale.
OPP (oriented polypropylene) is especially crystal-clear, stiff and brilliant – appearing even clearer than standard PP. At 30 microns the bag stays presentation-stable yet slim. The sealed seam ensures the clean edge guidance. For food the bag is suitable under EU 10/2011 and EC 1935/2004 (PIM declaration of conformity on request). As a PP mono-material it is recyclable and PPWR-compliant from 2030.
Choose the OPP bag with sealed seam when maximum clarity and a clean bag edge are the priority – pure presentation. If you need stiffness without a finished seam instead, the PP Flat Bags 40 microns are the alternative. If you are after soft flexibility, tear resistance or freezer suitability, the LDPE Flat Bags are the better choice – OPP is designed for visibility, not for cold storage. For confectionery and baked goods that need to impress on the shelf, this bag is usually the first choice.
You order the OPP flat bags as stock items with no minimum order value; we ship from German stock usually within 1–3 working days and are happy to enclose free samples before your first order. We offer special formats from a minimum run. For disposal the bag belongs, as a PP mono-material, sorted into the plastic recycling stream and thus remains recyclable as well as PPWR-compliant from 2030.

OPP is biaxially oriented and therefore even more brilliantly crystal-clear and stiffer at a lower thickness. Even 30 microns of OPP appears very presentation-stable – ideal when maximum clarity counts.

We do not recommend it. OPP is optimised for visibility and stiffness and reacts more brittlely in the cold. For frozen goods the soft LDPE flat bags are the right choice.
Take the OPP bag when maximum clarity and the finished sealed seam count. Choose the PP flat bag 40 microns when you want more material thickness and stiffness without a pre-made seam.
Because, through orientation, OPP is significantly stiffer and clearer at the same thickness than non-oriented PP. 30 microns therefore deliver enough stand for a neat presentation.
