The LDPE Adhesion Seal Bags with Bevelled Flap without Air Hole 50–70 microns are soft, crystal-clear bags made of polyethylene with a self-adhesive flap and a fully closed envelope. Without an air hole they close dust-tight — ideal for food packing such as spices, dry products and powder portions as well as for textiles that should be cleanly enclosed.
01
What the LDPE adhesion seal bags without air hole are used for
Because this bag has no vent hole, it securely retains even fine contents. You close it tool-free via the self-adhesive, bevelled flap and get a tight, transparent packaging.
Small parts and sets — everything stays in the closed bag
02
Material and properties: LDPE and food suitability
LDPE is soft, tear-resistant and crystal-clear — nicer in the hand than the stiffer PP and pliable enough to conform to its contents. The bag is certified for food contact in accordance with EC 1935/2004 and EU 10/2011; the declaration of conformity (PIM) is available on request. Polyethylene is also cold-resistant down to approx. -40 °C and therefore freezer-suitable, and heat-stable up to about 70–80 °C.
03
Choosing the right thickness: 50 vs. 70 microns
The version covers the range 50 to 70 microns. With 50 microns you get a lightweight standard bag for non-critical contents; with 70 microns you get more stability and tear resistance for somewhat more demanding or heavier packing. If you need venting when packing flat textiles, the PP version with air hole is more fitting; if you value a recycled content, choose the rLDPE version.
04
Tool-free closing without a sealing device
The appeal of the adhesion seal lies in the speed: you need no sealing device, no tape and no clip. Peel the protective strip off the bevelled flap, fold over, press on — and the bag is tight. This saves time when packing spice or dry-product portions and makes every closure uniformly clean. The crystal-clear LDPE film stays flexible and tear-resistant, so the bag also holds reliably during transport.

Frequently asked questions about the LDPE Adhesion Seal Bags without Air Hole
Why does this bag have no air hole?
Without an air hole the bag closes dust-tight and securely retains even fine contents such as spices or powder. An air hole only serves to vent air when packing flat textiles — for closed food packing it would be counterproductive.
Is the bag approved for food?
Yes. The LDPE bag is certified in accordance with EC 1935/2004 (framework regulation) and EU 10/2011 (plastics in food contact). This makes it suitable for spices, dry products and powder portions. We provide the declaration of conformity (PIM) on request.
What does the 50–70 micron range mean?
The version is available in the thickness range 50 to 70 microns. 50 microns is the lightweight standard, 70 microns gives you more tear resistance and stability for heavier or somewhat more demanding contents. Which thickness is available per size is shown in the order table.
How does the LDPE bag differ from the PP bag with air hole?
LDPE is soft, tear-resistant and, without an air hole, dust-tight — good for food and closed packaging. The PP bag is stiffer, crystal-clear and brilliant and has an air hole for venting — good for the flat presentation of textiles and print.
Is the bag freezer-suitable?
Yes. Polyethylene stays cold-resistant down to approx. -40 °C and is therefore freezer-suitable. Towards the top, LDPE is heat-stable up to about 70–80 °C; it is not designed for hot filling.
How do I close the bag without a device?
Via the bevelled flap with a self-adhesive strip. Peel off the protective strip, fold over the tab, press on — the adhesion seal holds without tape or a sealed seam.
How do I dispose of the LDPE bag?
The bag consists of pure LDPE (mono-material) and belongs in the yellow bag. In the German PE recycling stream it is NIR-detectable and fully recoverable, designed to be PPWR-compliant.
Can I have the LDPE bags printed?
Yes, individual printing with your logo is possible on the crystal-clear LDPE film. We discuss minimum order quantity and lead time individually; before your first order we send you free samples.
