Mailing bags: which bags are suitable for shipping?

For textiles, adhesion seal bags or flat bags made of LDPE are suitable; for shoes and accessories, drawstring bags; for small parts, ziplock bags. Delivery note bags keep documents on the outside of the parcel. For heavy or sharp items, thicker bags (from 50 µm) make sense.

How thick should the bag be?

The thicker the film, the more tear-resistant the bag. Our LDPE flat bags come in 25, 50 and 100 µm (sizes from 40 × 60 mm to 800 × 1200 mm), LDPE ziplock bags in 50 and 90 µm, adhesion seal bags in 50 to 70 µm. Rule of thumb: light textiles get by with 25 to 50 µm, heavy or sharp items benefit from 90 to 100 µm. More on film thickness: Film thickness in µm.

Delivery note bags for parcels

Delivery note bags are self-adhesive pouches that stick to the outside of the parcel. They are available plain or with a window and print, in the formats C4, C5, C6 and DIN long. This keeps the delivery note and invoice visible without putting them inside the parcel. From our range: Delivery note bags.
