The PP adhesive-seal bag with angled flap and air hole 50 µm is a crystal-clear presentation bag made of polypropylene, whose self-adhesive flap closes without any tools and whose air hole lets trapped air escape. At 50 µm thickness and with brilliant PP transparency, it's the first choice when textiles or printed items need to lie flat, wrinkle-free and without a bulging cover in the packaging.

01

What the PP adhesive bag with air hole is used for

The small vent hole makes this bag the standard solution wherever flat contents are stacked and presented. When inserting textiles or printed products, the angled, self-adhesive flap pushes out the residual air instead of trapping a distracting air cushion.

  • Textiles — shirts, t-shirts, knitwear lie flat and wrinkle-free
  • Print and printed products — cards, printed matter, brochures without an air bubble
  • Point-of-sale presentation — crystal-clear view of colour and material
02

Material and properties: why PP instead of PE

Polypropylene is more crystal-clear and dimensionally stable than soft LDPE, giving the packaging a premium, crisp appearance. That's exactly what you need for visible presentation: PP shines, stays dimensionally stable and lets the contents shine through brilliantly. The bag is a PP mono-material, so it runs cleanly through the PP recycling stream and is designed to be PPWR-compliant (recyclability from 2030).

03

Choosing with or without an air hole

The air hole determines suitability: if you need ventilation when flat-packing textiles and print, this variant is right. If instead the bag should close dust-tight without an air hole — for example for powders, small parts or spices — reach for the LDPE or rLDPE variant without an air hole. PP wins on presentation and transparency, soft PE on suppleness and tear resistance.

04

The angled flap in practice

The angled cut flap makes filling easier: the opening is easier to pick up, the contents slide in cleanly, and when you fold the flap closed it sits exactly over the seam. You peel off the protective strip, press the self-adhesive flap down, and in one motion you have a secure, see-through closure — no heat sealer, tape or extra labels needed. This keeps assembly fast and consistent even for larger quantities.

Frequently asked questions about the PP adhesive-seal bag with air hole

What is the air hole in this PP bag good for?

The air hole lets trapped air escape. If you insert flat textiles or printed products and close the self-adhesive flap without venting, an air cushion forms that puffs the bag up. The small hole keeps the bag flat and stackable.

Why PP instead of LDPE for this variant?

PP is more crystal-clear and dimensionally stable than soft LDPE. For presenting textiles and print, the premium, crisp look with full visibility matters most — that's where polypropylene is the better material. If instead you need a soft, especially tear-resistant bag, the LDPE variants are more suitable.

How does the adhesive closure work?

The angled flap carries a self-adhesive strip. You peel off the protective strip, fold the flap over and press it down — done. No tools, tape or heat seal are needed.

Is the 50 µm thickness enough for textiles?

Yes, 50 µm is the right thickness for flat, light contents such as textiles and printed products. For sharp-edged or heavy contents, a thicker film is advisable — but that's rarely needed for this presentation bag.

Is the bag food-safe?

This PP variant is designed for presenting textiles and print; food-contact suitability is not specified here. For food portioning, choose our LDPE adhesive bags, which are certified according to EC 1935/2004 and EU 10/2011. Declarations of compliance are available on request.

Does the air hole keep the bag dust-tight?

No, the air hole means the bag is not dust- or powder-tight. It is explicitly for venting when packing flat goods. If you need a closed bag without an air hole, choose the LDPE or rLDPE variant without one.

How do I dispose of the PP bag after use?

The bag is made of pure polypropylene and belongs in the yellow recycling bag. As a mono-material it is sorted cleanly in the German PP recycling stream and designed to be PPWR-compliant.

What sizes are available and where do I find them?

All available sizes are shown directly in the order table at the top of this page, including tiered pricing. We offer special sizes on request with a minimum order quantity.
