How to specify a custom-made product.
So that we can give you a precise quote, we need the following information:
- Bag dimensions: width × height (e.g. 80 × 120 mm)
- Material: e.g. PE, PP, laminate film, paper – and many more
- Closure type: e.g. press-to-close zip, slider or none – others on request
- Print colours: number + Pantone values
- Print area: dimensions + position from the bottom edge
- Intended use & PPWR: product to be filled, target market and special requirements (e.g. food contact, recyclability under the PPWR)
- Quantity: also feasible from smaller quantities

What information do I need to provide for a quote?
Bag dimensions (width × height), material, closure type, number of print colours including Pantone values, print area (dimensions and position from the bottom edge) and the quantity required. Sketches, artwork files or an existing bag sample speed up the quote.
Which materials and closures are possible?
Far more than a list could show: there are many materials, constructions and closure types – including no closure at all. Do custom packaging solutions have to comply with the PPWR?
The EU Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR) applies to packaging placed on the EU market – including custom-made packaging. Anyone placing packaging on the market under their own name or brand is generally regarded as the manufacturer and bears the manufacturer's obligations. Are small quantities possible too?
Yes, custom packaging can be realised even in smaller quantities – from pilot projects to large production runs. You will receive the specific quantity tiers in your fixed-price quote.
In which formats can I supply artwork files?
All common formats, e.g. JPEG, PNG, PDF, AI and EPS. You can upload sketches, artwork files or existing bag samples directly in the enquiry form.
How quickly will I receive a quote?
You can usually expect a first response within 48 hours. You will receive a transparent fixed-price quote and, before production, a print sample for approval.
