What is a doypack and what is it used for?

A doypack is a stand-up pouch with a stable bottom gusset that stays upright even when filled. Thanks to its large standing base and eye-catching front panel, it's ideal for shelf presentation — for coffee, tea, spices, confectionery, nuts, dry goods, pet food, or non-food items such as detergent and cosmetics.

Are doypacks food-safe?

Our doypacks made from virgin (new) material are suitable for direct food contact under EU Regulation 10/2011; we provide the declaration of conformity (DoC) on request. rLDPE variants containing recycled content are currently still in the testing phase for food-contact safety and are not approved for direct food contact — for food applications, we recommend the virgin variants.

Are doypacks resealable?

Many of our doypacks come with a press-to-close zipper, making them resealable as often as needed — protecting the contents from moisture and aroma loss. They're also available without a zipper for heat-sealing, as well as with an aroma valve for coffee. You'll find the available closure options directly on each product variant.

What sizes and fill volumes are available?

Doypacks are available in numerous formats, from small sample pouches to large containers holding around one kilogram of product. The right size depends on your product's bulk density and volume — exact dimensions and capacities are listed in the order table on each product page. If you're unsure, we're happy to advise you and send free samples.

Can I have doypacks printed with my logo?

Yes — doypacks can be custom-printed with your logo or design. Custom print runs are available from a minimum order quantity; we'll work out the details, artwork requirements, and an individual quote with you via our inquiry form.

Are doypacks recyclable?

Classic doypacks are often made from composite materials, which can only be recycled to a limited extent. For more sustainable requirements, we offer mono-material and bio-PE variants, as well as versions with PCR recycled content for non-food-contact applications.
