What the 100 microns tubular film is used for
You take this thickness when the packaging is mechanically stressed. The thicker film withstands impacts, edges and weight better and does not tear as easily — ideal for robust shipping and heavy packing. Where a thin film gives way under point pressure, the 100 microns thickness offers significantly more reserve and reliably protects the contents in transit.
- Heavy and sharp-edged contents — metal parts, workpieces, bulk goods
- Food packing — also for larger, heavier portions
- Stressed shipping — where thin film would puncture or tear
