The PP cone bags 40 microns are cone-shaped bags made from crystal-clear polypropylene with a 40 micron material thickness. The classic cone bag shape is ideal for loose confectionery and baked goods at the POS, because the contents are fully presented through the transparent PP and the bag is simply twisted shut at the top.
The cone bag is the classic for portioning small, loose quantities directly at the point of sale. Thanks to the crystal-clear film, customers see the contents immediately, which makes it the typical bag for sweets, pastries and pick-and-mix ranges.
Polypropylene is crystal-clear, more dimensionally stable than PE and food-grade according to EC 1935/2004 and EU 10/2011 — the declaration of conformity (PIM) is available on request. PP offers a good grease barrier and does not absorb grease from pastries or chocolate as readily as paper, so no translucent grease marks form. This keeps the bag clean and attractive even with high-fat confectionery.
You close the tapering bag in the classic way by twisting the top opening — fixed additionally with a clip or band if required. The 40 micron thickness is designed for light, loose confectionery and baked goods and holds the cone shape well. This thickness is not intended for sharp-edged or heavy contents; for those, a different bag shape from our range is recommended.
The crystal clarity is the strongest selling point: customers see the product fully, which encourages impulse purchases at the POS. At the same time the bag is a monomaterial made of pure polypropylene and therefore recyclable in the PP recycling stream and PPWR-compliant from 2030. After use it belongs in the recycling bin and can be recycled sorted by type.
