This declaration on accessibility applies to the Elke Plastic GmbH website published at elke-plastic.de.

General description of the service

The Elke Plastic GmbH website enables users to find out about products and services, make contact and place orders or bookings directly online.

Applicable legal requirements

For digital services, the requirements according to § 14 Barrierefreiheitsstärkungsgesetz (BFSG) i. V. m. § 3 Abs. m. § 3 Abs. 1 BFSG sowie der Verordnung zum BFSG (BFSGV).

Implementation of accessibility requirements

The assessment is based on a self-assessment using the AccessGO accessibility tool.

Based on this review, the website is partially accessible with the aforementioned requirements.

In detail, the following points are not fully compatible with the accessibility regulations that apply to us:

Barrier: Some buttons are empty or contain no descriptive text.
Barrier: Skipped heading level in the document structure.
Barrier: Redundant adjacent links with identical destination.
Barrier: Some form fields do not have correctly assigned text labels.
Barrier: Missing assignment of a label to a form field.
Barrier: Redundant title text for an element.
Planned handling of the aforementioned barriers:

We are already working on eliminating these barriers.

Note on PDF files:

Some PDF documents provided on the website (e.g. operating instructions, declarations of conformity, etc.) are not available in PDF format. operating instructions, declarations of conformity, energy labels, certificates) are currently not fully accessible.

Some of these files have structural and technical limitations - including missing heading structures, undefined reading sequences, missing alternative texts for graphic content or untagged tables. As a result, they can only be used to a limited extent with assistive technologies.

For organizational and economic reasons, it is currently not possible for us to provide all existing PDF documents completely barrier-free. However, we will endeavor to publish new documents in accessible form in the future wherever possible.

If you require a specific document in accessible form, please contact us. We will be happy to provide you with an individually accessible version, as far as this is possible for us.

Supplement to the accessibility statement

This allows users to adapt our website to individual limitations or preferences.

The federal states are currently setting up a joint body to carry out the tasks of the Accessibility Reinforcement Act. The Market Surveillance Agency of the Federal States for the Accessibility of Products and Services (MLBF) is to start work as a new public law institution in Saxony-Anhalt, in the state capital Magdeburg. The prerequisite for this is the ratification of the state treaty on the fulfillment of tasks in accordance with the Barrierefreiheitsstärkungsgesetz (BFSG) by all federal states. All federal states are currently creating the necessary conditions for this.
